LPG Philippines Forum 2017

LPG Consumption in the Philippines has grown over the past couple of years, but specific problems still plague the Philippines market. The LPG PHILIPPINES FORUM, since 2011, has been the voice of the industry in the Philippines, addressing specific problems and delving into specific opportunities to bring the latest developments in LPG from around the world to the Philippines.

2017 will be no different.

With a new administration, global supply changes and new technologies coming into the market, the LPG industry in the Philippines will be affected, and since the last forum in 2015, it was agreed that the industry need to be forward looking and continue to provide momentum for the LPG industry to continue to grow. More attention needs to be placed on the LPG industry to resolve key challenges and exploit upcoming opportunities.

The LPG PHILIPPINES FORUM is a continuation of our efforts to provide a valuable platform for the LPG industry and government stakeholders in the Philippines to meet, discuss, debate and address key issues that the industry is facing.

This year’s theme will center around Building a Sustainable Future with LPG, and will cover discussions on policy directions for LPG, the building of infrastructure for LPG distribution, introducing new uses for LPG especially in power generation, and take a crack at trying to revive autogas use. Local opinions will be augmented with international case studies to deliver insights and learning for the LPG industry.

 ASEAN BAC | Prosperity for All Summit

In honor of 50 years of growing ASEAN integration and progress, the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) presents the PROSPERITY FOR ALL SUMMIT—a one-day event focused on “Driving growth through micro and small entrepreneurs in Trade, Services and Agriculture”, happening in the City of Dreams, Manila, Philippines on April 28, 2017.

The PROSPERITY FOR ALL SUMMIT is expected to be a gathering of enablers from both the private and public sectors in view of MSME development. It will also be the initial meeting to lay out the blueprint for the ASEAN Business Advisory Council’s regional mentorship program, AMEN, and an avenue for leaders and heads of states to share their plans on achieving inclusive growth and prosperity not only in their own respective countries, but also in the region, collectively.

ASEAN-BAC Chair Joey Concepcion further discloses that “we (ASEAN-BAC) have invited all ten ASEAN state leaders from our neighboring ASEAN countries to participate in the exchange of best practices and initiatives for MSME development. It is no question that this coming together of all ASEAN nations to empower our MSMEs is integral to achieving prosperity for all.”
