GLOBAL MANAGED services provider iQor continues to expand its operations in the Philippines, with the opening of new contact centers in Sta. Rosa, Laguna and Bacolod City, Negros Island.
In a statement, the Florida-based company said the new facilities in Sta. Rosa and Bacolod would add 100,000 square meters to the company’s footprint in the country, which already has contact centers in Clark, Davao, Dasmariñas, Iloilo, and Talisay.
The new contact centers will also add over 2,000 new jobs, bringing the number of iQor employees in the Philippines to over 20,000 by end-2017.
“The Philippines is one of the largest English-speaking countries in the world, and it is their friendly customer reps, high literacy rate, and large college-educated workforce that creates such a demand for Filipino agents and why iQor continues to expand,” iQor Chief Operating Officer Gary Praznik was quoted as saying.
The company said operations in Sta. Rosa and Bacolod will offer a full range of BPO services for mobile, retail, and financial clients.
